Keeping healthy in Ramadan

Ramadan is a time of year where Muslims around the world focus on their faith and spend time with family and friends. It can also be a challenging time to stay healthy, especially if you are not used to fasting for long period of time.In this blog post, we will discuss some tips for keeping healthy during Ramadan.


If you are fasting during Ramadan, it is important to make sure that you are getting enough nutrients. One way to do this is by eating high protein, high fibre and low sugar foods. High protein food can make u feels full longer as you need to stay fasted for around 10-12 hours.


Another way to keep in mind during Ramadan is by staying hydrated. Make sure to drink plenty of water , especially before start of the fasting and when you break fast. You can also drink fruit juices without any sugar added and coconut water to help keep your body hydrated.


Even during fasting, it’s a good idea to at least do a simple workout, just to keep your body moving. A simple 30 minutes walk when fasting, or some light stretching will do wonders for our body and soul. By the end of Ramadan, your body should feel more energized and less sluggish.


Its important to remember that even though we are fasting, we still need to take care of our bodies. By following these simple tips, we can ensure that our body adapts well to the fasting period and we can stay healthy throughout Ramadan.
